A New York Times story reported &#8220;Members of Congress, an internal F.D.A. whistleblower and prominent medical journals have said the agency is incapable of uncovering the perils of drugs that have been approved and are in wide distribution.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other critics, such as Dr. Angell (see &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/ec2-54-175-84-28.compute-1.amazonaws.com\/pharma-mkting.com\/news\/pmn310-article01.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Truth About the Drug Companies: What To Do About It<\/a>&#8220;), have broader issues with the FDA.
