Aase on the LinkedIn Social Media Compliance Council group, &#8220;we believe that for social tools to be considered mainstream in health care, employees need to be able to access social sites during the work day. We have launched an online survey to gauge the level of policy development and also the extent of blocking, and plan to publish both a White Paper and Toolkit for those advocating open access.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>A few of the questions asked in the survey include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Does your organization currently maintain an official presence on these (Facebook, Linked, Twitter, Youtube, etc.) social networking sites?<\/li>\n<li>Has your organization either established a policy or developed guidelines for social media use by employees?
